I had the opportunity to attend @eua.eu s CDE conference this week at the @uniofgalway.bsky.social. A key takeaway was on the importance of societal engagement and reframing the doctoral structure to support the doctoral candidates to transfer to non academic careers after their PhDs.

Recently I saw the PM2.5 levels spiking up in my bedroom.Only to see one of the housemates was cooking (deep frying) without any windows opened or the kitchen extract fan on. Reminder to open the window and have the IMF on when 🍳.

Using solid fuels to heat our homes not only increases the energy consumption but also leading harmful Particulate Matter emissions well.
It's imperative to make sure the air we breathe is clean. Especially for those who are vulnerable. 🫁🍃🌬️
