First draft is complete. Time to sleep on it and revisit it over the next day or 2 to make sure everything is of an acceptable quality.
Not to mention have my good friends read through it and leave feedback.

I woke up to a call from my brother this morning - our family dog, Apollo, died last night.
He was old, but he was fine yesterday so I'm unsure what happened.
The worst part is, my mom is out of the country for 2 weeks and no one can reach her, so she gets to find out when she gets back.
