Quake is 30. And that's weird. In today's video, I'm looking at the game, the remaster, the four expansions, and the console ports of Quake. Come sit down with me for a bit as we talk about how everything hurts in Quake.

Still, Emily Blunt is absolutely award-worthy here. Grounded, energetic, anxious, thoroughly and truly real. No matter how the movie serves up awkward plot and obfuscated details, Blunt keeps the goings on arresting to watch. I liked it. Good, but not great, I recommend it in the theater.

MASSIVE thanks to everyone turning out for the new Quake video. I was hoping this would get some love, but I had no idea it would be this much. Three months of sanity-reducing work is paying off. I'm humbled. Thank you.

Disclosure Day is excellent filmmaking, but subpar writing. Spielberg is absolutely firing on all cylinders with his direction, but David Koepp's script is contrived to the point of aggravation. As a whole, it's a fun, even moving film. Examining the specifics, it falls apart.
