Good news! OpenAI is canceling so many large purchase orders and datacenter expansions that the global price of RAM is dropping.
I’m sharing this video again because people don’t really get what these data centers and ai are doing to our planet and our communities. Especially Black communities because they were strategically placed there.
I need you to listen to these people.
STOP USING AI. STOP SUPPORTING AI.
I’m hoping all the loud angry voices of users here will make them back out of this choice. Even if it’s a “different app” I don’t care. It’s a useless feature that does more harm than good. They’re setting themselves up for failure if they keep going this route.
