There’s a real problem in the US with too much first floor retail being required, and then it sits empty or becomes a gym for the residents (and people, especially women, don’t like being watched by people on the street) or leasing offices. So it should be allowed everywhere but not required.

What happened with the proposed legislation?
I want to mandate smaller cars. Cars are critical infrastructure, yet we have little to say about what how they should be designed. I think it's time to change this, and even paying to replace large cars with small ones could be (maybe!) faster and cheaper than rebuilding cities.

Dealers and manufacturers are pushing for more dealer maintenance and repairs. I think we can see the edges of the end of dealers as the fleet becomes more electrified. (E.g. fewer sales and less maintenance) This would be good as dealers are in the way of better transport options. Gift link.
