He’s making me tap the sign, isn’t he? — Jeff

We are one week and one day from the release of STRIXHAVEN: OMENS OF CHAOS, the first print Magic the Gathering book since 2019. (A thread with too many gifs.)
All pending mailing has gone out. This includes the giveaway copies of OMENS OF CHAOS, a box of books for a librarian on the East Coast, and some older Toby pre-order pins.
This handsome man needs a temporary residence! The only real risk is that if you spend a year with a Maine Coon, you may want one when you're done.
Hate me if you like, you can't unwrite my book, and I have left my grubby little fingerprints all over the canon.
And honestly, even if the community doesn't enjoy it, I enjoyed the living shit out of writing it. I brought my love of the game and the setting to every page, and I wrote my little heart out. I am content with what I have achieved.
All that being said, you have one week left to pre-order and be counted, and that + first week sales will determine whether we make the best seller lists. I want to write the sequel SO BAD YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW. GIVE ME MY DESIRES.
I am so honored and delighted by the fact that I was able to whine and beg until I was allowed to write this book; it took a while, both to get the green light and to get a draft everyone could agree on.
But now that it's almost here, I couldn't be prouder of what I and the team were able to achieve. It's an exciting adventure totally independent of any specific set or block, and I really hope the community enjoys it.

Lithgow claims JKR is misunderstood.
Lithgow is now on my do not watch.
This breaks my heart a little.
