I moved house yesterday, after 15 years in the old house, the longest I’ve ever lived in a house. We only moved half a kilometre but all my everyday routes, on foot, by bike and in the car, have been reoriented. I know the streets but not intimately or routinely. It’s quite odd.
As others have said, this is a nice thing, but it’s not why Dutch kids are happy.
Slightly random query, but think my north-east mutuals here might have better suggestions than others I know: Can anyone recommend a Tyneside landscaper who might be able to come up with some sustainable/climate-friendly (yet not too pricey) ideas for paving a small back yard? Thanks!

The glaring thing about the under-16s social media ban is that it comes alongside our govenrment's ongoing refusal to acknowledge, let alone tackle, the fact that our children are not safe from drivers in their neighborhoods, at their schools, in football parades, on sports pitches, or at nursery.
