This is why I’m completely jaded from all the outrage and complaints from the cartoon community. The loudest voices in there just want to hate over nothing burgers, and it’s all so meaningless that I now find their rants more cringe than the subjects that they’re ranting about.
The Owl House didn't invent teenagers going to another world either! By that logic, then Sword Art Online and all its isekai ilk would be called ripoffs too.
This looks fun! Always a sucker for coming-of-age, neurodivergent-coded fantasy stories and this looks like a very good one of those.
Also, as a certified Owl House super fan, can we stop pretending this is a ripoff just because they’re in the same genre? Please?
