Also this might not even be as big of an issue ( my Twitter feed is so ⌠itâs awfulâŚitâs just spoon feeding me garbage I donât wanna see so I donât use it very much anymore ) but the fact that I did see people being so negative about a childrenâs book bc its âuglyâ just bc of the way itâs drawn
And because art is subjective , âgoodâ is different to everybody! I just really am sad a lot of people discourage such an expressive medium by saying ew this is ugly bc itâs not a perfect 1:1 copy of a____!!
I think I'm gonna end up reworking this illustration again, but it was still fun to do and figure out how I wanted Aria's goldfish to look! It's officially summer break from work!
