Unlike everyone else here I’m not an expert on the military but every time I see a new “x000 troops headed to Middle East” it strikes me as a lot but… not enough?
Then I saw this and yeah, again, not an expert but 10K more than usual doesn’t strike me as a recipe for ground invasion success?
I’d personally say “people” vs “media” it’s really chicken and the egg but MAGA is definitely a direct descendent of the tea party
Ideal conditions for a general strike: people are well paid with a good cushion of savings and a strong safety net 🙃
