Any time a creative turns to this tech, they are saying "I do not respect the people who do this thing. I do not value their creative contribution to my vision. I think they are so worthless, they can be replaced by the machine that ate their work." It's not surprising this is seen as hostile.

i read PERSEPOLIS in a mall Borders as a preteen in 2003. it explained the war better than my school. some of it went over my head but much more did not, thanks to stark, clear cartooning that so effectively conveyed rage, compassion and a determination for justice. rest in peace, Marjane Satrapi.
