I do understand that this is a tiny portion of a vast wonderful fandom which I would love to see find a way to come back together.
Someone on twitter wrote a really well reasoned post explaining my comment -- I do not feel unsafe because people don't like the finale, were upset by the ending, or have many interesting responses. I feel unsafe because of threats against me, my family, and vile things said about my loss.

It's possible to remain civil even if you didn't like it. I think it's also possible to appreciate the efforts of those who made this possible, and to each other. They weren't in charge of the writing, and I honestly would've hated it more if it had ended on the S2 cliffhanger.
If you didn't like the GO3 ending and you DID NOT harass the crew, our complains aren't about you btw. It's okay if you didn't like it we all have different options like I've said millions of times already, this is about the minority who went after the people who worked on it.
