White people seem aghast at the white supremacist violence in Ireland over the last couple of days; comparing it to Kristallnacht.
Our own history of exactly this sort of white supremacist violence right here: Tulsa, Rosewood, Elaine, Wilmington— the list of American “Kristallnachts” is LONG.
I feel the exact same way. *Maybe* he's changed. *Maybe* he means what he says today. The Senate should NOT be where he makes his case. Prove yourself in local politics or, at most, the House where the stakes are lower.
