I dreamed last night that I was someplace tropical. I ran into a building, my skin red because I forgot sunscreen again. There was a water show. A bored teen in scuba gear asked, "Do you want to feed the mermaids?"
They were tiny, in a dollhouse tank, glaring at me as they ate messy chunks of peach.
It has been approximately 879 days since the library said my book would be available soon. May soon be forced to read stack of books already on dresser.
