The homicide rate is falling, but domestic killings are not.
We know what makes domestic violence more lethal: easy access to firearms.
Domestic violence is not a private matter. It is a deadly public crisis and we must act like it. Women and children in this country deserve better.
This administration wants warning labels for LGBTQ+ people on tv.
Not for the #1 killer of America’s children and teens. Not for the glorification of gun violence in media.
While politicians manufacture outrage, they’re ignoring the very real and present danger that is taking our kids from us.
An Iowa man shot & killed 6 relatives in a domestic dispute.
I can’t stop thinking about the only surviving family member, a 22-year old who lost his mom, sister, and 4 brothers.
When an abuser has access to a firearm, the risk of a deadly outcome increases dramatically.
Our leaders must act.
A new report shows that Trump’s $330 million+ deployment of National Guard troops in DC did nothing to reduce violent crime.
These dollars could have been put towards evidence-based gun violence prevention solutions that save lives. But that would require actually wanting to solve the problem.
The next House and Senate majorities need leaders ready on day one to save lives.
That’s why Brady PAC is proud to endorse 23 proven gun violence prevention champions who will hold this administration accountable, stand up to the gun lobby, and fight for the safer future our families deserve.
We are extremely proud to endorse long-time champion @teammcbride.bsky.social.
At a time when too many politicians traffic in division and cruelty, Sarah leads with courage, compassion, and results. She’s a phenomenal human being, and exactly the kind of leader America needs more of in Congress.
We’re proud to join the Delaware Coalition Against Gun Violence in endorsing a phenomenal champion for public safety, Kathy Jennings.
AG Jennings has spent her life protecting Delawareans and we urge voters to return her to office this fall. #DEpol @democraticags.bsky.social
Thanks to @msnownews.bsky.social for covering our new lawsuit against the Trump administration.
“Americans deserve to know about the sources of firearms that are driving crime in our communities and what ATF is doing, or not doing, about it.” - Brady President Kris Brown @krisbrown.bradyunited.org
As Brady President @krisbrown.bradyunited.org told @axios.com, "This is absolutely the gun industry's wish list."
They know it raises the risk of mass shootings.
They know that violent crime is likely to go up.
They know it's going to hinder law enforcement.
And they do it anyway.
The homicide rate is falling, but domestic killings are not. For those who track this kind of violence, the deaths are both predictable and preventable.
BIG NEWS: We’re taking the Trump administration to court.
Along with @democracyforward.org, we’re demanding the administration comply with our requests for public records showing gun dealers fueling the country’s gun violence crisis — and what ATF is doing about them.
We deserve answers.

The Trump regime’s trafficker-friendly agenda is at the heart of the lawsuit from the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence.
Brady, a nonprofit gun control advocacy group, is suing the ATF and the DOJ over their refusals to release documents and other information about who the largest sellers of crime guns in the U.S. are.
