A nurse I work with argued with me a couple of days ago that since viruses act like parasites, ivermectin is a viable treatment for viral illnesses. This was not the only disinformation he spread. His lies were making me physically ill. I’m trying to figure out a way to report him.

I’m an RN. I get paid a decent wage working at a union hospital. The only time I felt underpaid was during Covid. My hospital eliminated our scheduled yearly pay raise and our 401(k) match. During a worldwide pandemic, they effectively decreased our pay. That made me angry.
This upcoming cold/flu season is going to suck. My early COVID days PTSD is kicking in. I hope we (healthcare workers) can make it through.
I think that is key. The underlying racism in these orders needs to be shouted from the rooftops.
My hospital system recently sent an email describing our policy. Without clear identification and a warrant, we don’t even acknowledge the existence of the patient. It gave me a little bit of hope.
