obtained a couple more horror games and also a ps3 controller because the right trigger on my old one is dead 😔 I can't wait to play these in autumn

I know we're halfway through the year but it's not too late to start a gaming thread... is it? I'm gonna try and document every new game I've played this year and we're all gonna ignore the fact that it's June already, ok? Good.
a game I never thought I'd own... this copy is still sealed, although I will be opening it as I fully intend on actually playing it :)
Golden Sun (GBA)
Baby's first proper RPG if you ignore all the others I unknowingly played beforehand. Very fun and flexible combat system, but my god can the game be weirdly cryptic at times. I really liked the sprites and music, and felt myself connecting with the characters throughout the story
Sakura Wars GB (GBC)
This game was my introduction to the Sakura Wars franchise which is kind of an odd place to start but I really enjoyed my time with the game and played it through to multiple endings. The game really doesn't explain anything but I fell in love with the characters!
