It’s like there’s always a pervasive aw-shucks do-gooderism and “coexist” MN Niceness that almost always just goes back to white people naming all the terms of that existence and then patting themselves on the back for doing what is right for them.
That cup tip is so good on so many levels.
I cannot even wrap my head around this. I thought it was a joke about white people. Then I thought it was right-wing trolling.
But it’s actually a full-on real, deep level of white self-importance, arrogance, ownership, & total disregard for anyone else in the world or the space you take up in it.
As we say here in the Upper Midwest: Ope.
And at while my mind is blown by the profound arrogance and absolute *audacity* of these posters, I am also reminded just how normalized this is in Minnesota. I mean, the majority of white people in this state would say “Oh, I think keeping the dog park there is a good idea. We can share.”
It must be that you could feel me still mad at you for canceling that appointment when you were pretending to be my cat’s psychic.
