Yellow uranocircite is, as its name suggests, a uranium mineral. I couldn’t increase the magnification any further to try and capture the pretty little crystals, but this yellow patch reminds me of the eye of an ancient creature hidden within the rock. #Mineral #Minerals #FocusStacking #Macro
Todorokite is a very soft manganese oxide that occurs in a variety of forms. On this specimen, it forms stalagmites that are difficult to photograph. Its bronze colour is fascinating. And sometimes, it pseudomorphs from mushrooms! #Mineral #Minerals #FocusStacking #Macro
