Very quiet field for Larkhall by-election on the 9th of July: no Green, Lib Dem or other candidates. Larkhall has a particular reputation that leads me to believe that Reform will do very, very well here: indeed, they narrowly beat Labour on the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse list vote last month

Post-Holyrood by-elections continue to mount, following the sad death of Labour councillor for South Lanarkshire's Larkhall ward, Lesley McDonald. This was her third term as a councillor, though she'd lost out in 2017 (after defecting from the SNP to Labour in 2014)
