Agreed with all this, and will add: the swift move to censor anyone for even being slightly skeptical of the Kirk deification backfired. Turned out some people bought the "free speech" lie and that was eye-opening.

Just finished a egalley of this and it was fantastic. Also, the author nixed my normal author q&a question of "What was the best ghost story you came across during your research?" by just including that information in the book.
So everyone should read this.
BREAKING (must credit me): the New York wordmark on the road jerseys is slightly larger than in 2024-25, returning to the proper sizing they had from 2012-23.
