#Copyright law is being challenged by #AI – that was the subject of yesterday's hearing in the #GEMA vs. #SunoAI case at Munich Regional Court I.
Like the GEMA vs. OpenAI case, it deals with the question of whether AI tools infringe on the copyrights of artists.
Josef Drexl, Direktor am Max-Planck-Institut für Innovation und Wettbewerb, betont, dass KI auf menschliche Kreativität angewiesen ist. Deshalb schlägt er vor, dass KI-Anbieter eine Abgabe zahlen, die an Urheber ausgeschüttet wird.
