My 10 year old and I are reading through the minor prophets at night and came across this powerful summary from Zechariah 7 of how God calls his people to live. An evergreen word, but particularly relevant for today.

When the Anglo-Saxons migrated to the British Isles around 410 A.D. they called the native peoples Welsh, or “foreigners” and took their land. I can’t help but think of that presumptuous audacity when I hear stories of harassment against the only people in this land who *aren’t* immigrants.
