I have a theory regarding #tadc that I really like, so I'll share it here : The reason Kinger doesn't remember how they used to call Caine is the same reason why everyone in the amazing digital circus can't remember their names.
I don't know what to think of the theory that Scratch was working on another A.I, but if that were the case, it could explain why Kinger can't remember "what" (or rather who) it was.
