Los Angeles County literally has a fully transparent vote counting process - the entire count is livestreamed online. This commitment to transparency makes zero difference, mainstream press still credulously repeats GOP info bubble claims of fraud anyway.
How interesting that Meta called @wired.com "dishonest" and then (quietly) removed the face-recognition system it had previously (also quietly) integrated into an app downloaded onto 50 million phones. Dishonest!

It's easy to shrug off the idiots claiming that the incredibly accomplished politician Spencer Pratt was cheated out of a rightful win in Los Angeles. But they're going to make these same claims in November, so we need to carpet bomb this conspiracy out of existence right now.

The code WIRED identified is gone from the latest version of Meta AI, the companion app for the company’s smart glasses. Meta won’t say why or whether it’s coming back.

Listen, the fact that the GOP is freaking out that Spencer Pratt didn't win is a VERY bad sign for November. And the fact that they're willing to claim fraud and say the evidence is the lack of evidence, makes it even scarier.
for me, it's not about this so much, it's about me being a consumer of information, not performance, and the effort put into performance very frequently eclipses the effort put into the quality of information
