Watching some folks in my industry trip over themselves to dogpile this lady to essentially say "shut up & dribble" has been so disappointing & it's the exact reason why so many below-the-line folks fear publicly talking about exploitive work conditions.
Pixar just dropped the first teaser for the next film Gatto and I really cannot get enough of how gorgeous this animation is. I love seeing the 2D influence here and it is also giving me similar vibes to Ratatouille. I can't wait to see it and what Enrico Cassarosa does!

It's not the art style. It just feels like they're not trying. Not as cutting edge as they used to be. Lazily applying the same formula each time to a different object. I don't see movies that make me get excited much anymore, from any major studio. Less investment.
