Someone reffered to the music I was listening to tonight as "music that scares the hoes" and I think that's accurate
I want to emphasize this because it’s trans history. In the 80s and 90s a lot of trucking companies paid well and covered transition care. There were a lot of trans women that took jobs as truckers, transitioned, and quietly disappeared into their lives. Nothing white collar about it.
Today in vrchat I saw a bathtub that fills itself up to the proper level and then the water shuts off. Revolutionary

There are a seemingly disproportionate number of trans women in tech because that industry pays well and has generally been decent about people transitioning. In the 90s it was trucking, not tech. If other industries followed suit you’d see a whole lot of trans women in other roles.
