1/ Can AI help researchers check whether published social science results actually reproduce? In our new PNAS paper, we tested this directly in the AI Replication Games: 288 researchers, 103 teams, and real replication packages from quantitative social science.
That said, I will be around at Canadian conferences much more now, and particularly look forward to catching up with friends in Edmonton.
Over the years, my perspective and career priorities have shifted, and this move feels like a better fit for the next stage of my life and work. I will still visit the UK and Europe for collaborations and conferences, but I obviously won’t be around as much.
Nottingham has been a major part of my life and career. It has given me valuable opportunities to develop as a researcher, teacher, colleague, and mentor. I’ve learned a great deal here, worked with excellent colleagues and students, made some amazing friends, and done a lot of work I’m proud of.
