I highly recommend this very interesting interview of Gen. Ben Hodges.
The Pro-Russian AfD laughed when German chancellor Friedrich Merz praised the heroic fight of the Ukrainian people for independence, which he immediately used to call out the treasonous character of the AfD, and wishing them „farewell to Moscow“.
Highly recommend listening to this. I'd like to add something interesting that Phillips O'Brien wrote in his Substack post today. bsky.app/profile/phil...
Well it's clear, Evan, that what he needs is a small portable slanted reading desk, you know, one like the NYRB sells in its shop along w pencils w quotations stamped on them? And while you're at it, do provide him with a clothes pin to hold down the pages, & maybe a page-turner.

I'm not finding a town in Ukraine called 'Cherniv,' and have never heard of one. If what they meant was 'Chernihiv,' that means its location is also wrong. Chernihiv is in NNE Ukraine, nowhere near Ternopil and Lviv..
Peskov explained that the “special military operation” is necessary to prevent attacks like the one on St. Petersburg.
Reading this, you realize just how brilliant Orwell was in his foresight: "We attacked to stop the response to our attack".
🇩🇪 Merz: Ukraine is not only defending its citizens, not only its freedom — it is also defending our freedom. Ukraine is defending freedom and security throughout Europe, because Ukraine belongs to Europe and, in the longer term, belongs to the European Union.

At 7s in Argo is winding himseff up for a bork. He opens his mouf and pulls his lips back just prior to issuing his bork. At moments like this one could even compare his borks to an Ukaz, an official pronouncement.
