anyway the second episode was really good for what to do when friends like different things and don't enjoy those different things together, but want to maintain friendship. pretty good. and funny! I'm enjoying the heck out of it.
i was fallimg asleep during tv time but then i couldn't actually sleep i read a whole chapter of Value in Art (about Poe) and could barely keep my eyes open by the end of it but couldn't actually sleep why. 😭
I'm low-key really into the way Electric Bloom is showing/dealing with the way 14yo (straight/bi) girls like boys. This 4th episode is going straight to "oh no, we all have a crush on the same boy!" but also it's been a theme all along (he's a very pretty boy lol) good tween tv
the chapter about Poe is interesting, but I'm not really seeing the connection. Other than Manet did really good illustrations for The Raven, but that was like 10 years after Olympia? it did point out similar themes in Poe as in Baudelaire and Manet, though, re racism and slavery, light and dark

speaking of omg, they're doing a school play and "Places everyone" got a "thank you, places!" from Posey. of course she would be the one to know and follow the traditions
