I'm low-key really into the way Electric Bloom is showing/dealing with the way 14yo (straight/bi) girls like boys. This 4th episode is going straight to "oh no, we all have a crush on the same boy!" but also it's been a theme all along (he's a very pretty boy lol)

the chapter about Poe is interesting, but I'm not really seeing the connection. Other than Manet did really good illustrations for The Raven, but that was like 10 years after Olympia?
it did point out similar themes in Poe as in Baudelaire and Manet, though, re racism and slavery, light and dark
speaking of omg, they're doing a school play and "Places everyone" got a "thank you, places!" from Posey. of course she would be the one to know and follow the traditions
