I always enjoy Rieko Hatato's performances in Texas Ballet Theater productions but last night every movement she made as Odette/Odile was so freaking beautiful!

I finished a book on May 10 and haven't started another. While I was busy last week, there were times when I wanted to read but decided to do something else. I figured out the reason yesterday: the book on deck is Archangel's Eternity and I'm not ready for the series to end.
I first met Piper at Authors After Dark in 2012. Over the following seven years I would see her at many of the book cons I attended. She was always so welcoming and friendly. Her steampunk costumes were amazing. She and her partner could tear up a dance floor. 💔😭
