I don't understand the "being left behind" genAI argument tbh. We all have been trained very specifically to read, write and think. We all knew how to do those things three years ago. If they didn't exist, we'd still be doing science. When the bubble pops, we will still do science🧪

I first met Piper at Authors After Dark in 2012. Over the following seven years I would see her at many of the book cons I attended. She was always so welcoming and friendly. Her steampunk costumes were amazing. She and her partner could tear up a dance floor. 💔😭

I finished a book on May 10 and haven't started another. While I was busy last week, there were times when I wanted to read but decided to do something else. I figured out the reason yesterday: the book on deck is Archangel's Eternity and I'm not ready for the series to end.
