Fascists in Belfast set fire to buildings with people inside them. People of colour left work early to stay indoors. This is being actively encouraged by the world’s richest man whose openly pro-white nationalist platform X is still used by the UK government www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

Two pieces on the military struggle in Myanmar with different framings/lenses: The BBC one focuses on the struggles of various rebel groups & how the military is gaining ground www.bbc.com/news/article... The Asia times one looks at how foreign media is making too much of the Junta's "comeback"

When you actively demonise brown immigrants, this is what you get. And it's exactly what ppl like Farage, Robinson and Musk want. Starmer/Labour may not have wanted pogroms, but with their hard-line anti-immigration rhetoric and policies whipping up emotions, what did they think was going to happen?

People's goal have just released their "four year achievement report 2022-2025" it's incredible to see all they have done. Helped hundreds defect from the Junta Military, done huge amounts of education & bringing different parts of the resistance together to discuss issues & so much more. 1/
kids need and have a RIGHT to community and safe access to information, even and especially information that their parents might want to restrict from them (e.g., seeking help for abuse, queer and trans survival, etc.) no, it doesn't "have to happen." kids have a right to participate in public life
I would also add: Every person who participated in/supported the 2019 protests can now potentially be prosecuted under the NSL, and GovHK will use that to push its narrative that it was all an organised, armed rebellion funded by the West. Remembering the truth daily matters more than ever now.
