this war is already a strategic loss for the US and we haven't even begun our carefully telegraphed ground invasion. that'll result in a loss of soft and hard power that will set up the next 20 years of conflict and suffering around the world.

there's just ALWAYS another ask. and i get it, we need members to do the work of running the union. but via the union we've failed to provide stable, livable contracts for our members and we spend our time suing our employer to follow through on deals to which they already agreed

i get the impression that Democrats are excited for a big midterm win without any plan to fix the gaping holes in our system. thats why everyone across the political spectrum agrees the Democratic party sucks
this is what my union does and i find it very annoying and misleading. i guess it's the best you can do if you don't have real power, but it really highlights how little power you have and the need to obtain real power instead of endlessly organizing
