I took my crested gecko to the vet today, and she was diagnosed with follicular stasis. Since thereโs no insurance, the treatment will be quite expensive. But thanks to the support of my friends and commissioners, I was able to receive enough commissions to cover the surgery costs.๐

People sometimes ask me how I get the look in my illustrations, but I donโt really know how to explain it. I mostly just draw by instinct, my brain just goes โthis looks better(?)โ and I follow that.
Every time I tell myself Iโm done taking commissions, life immediately slaps me in the face and sends me right back to drawing commissions again.๐ซต
My gecko is recovering steadily after surgery. I can finally feel a little relieved for now.๐ฆ
