The shame of a decade of Trump has created a world where a bunch of Brits and Europeans (not the same, famously) forgot that America is better at nearly everything. Food in particular.
It’s true: I’m one of those New Yorkers you hear about.
Everything you’ve heard about the city is true. All of it, good and bad. But as you’ve also heard, the good far outweighs the bad.
I hope everyone gets one night like we had last night.
TikTok made a lot of people swap out their brains for a warm bowl of pudding.
This should be the BlueSky corporate slogan.
In fact, why consume anything? All the cool people I know just use photosynthesis now.
And, also due to Trump, plenty of Americans have seemingly forgotten the reason America is so much better at everything is because we take the best parts of all the other countries and add them to America.
There is nothing more frustrating than saying something like, “if you live in New York City, you can literally walk and pick up your food and save $5” and hearing in response, “BUT WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE WITH NO LEGS AND SEVERE AGORAPHOBIA? Fascist!!!”
So mostly what I’m sick of is these guys (and the media) feeling like they can demand absolute professionalism from Democrats at all times while doing bullshit like this.
