Aggressive foliage added to the worldbuilding
A lot of them are juiced up from magic and potions seeping into the soil
They are not hungry for people for food reasons, kinda just hungry for more magic (which they know people happen to have sometimes), which makes them act like man-eating plants
I still vividly remember somebody who had joined Firewalk, how they had uprooted their life and moved their family, their wife and children, across the country to come work for Sony.
