honestly, this was the median opinion among protestors at no kings, and it's hard to tell if that's getting through to the establishment
I've shared this before, but I've had ICE agents ask me if I'm getting paid while doing court watch. These people simply cannot comprehend doing something to help others. Everything must be a grift.

one of the videos from the occupation that i find most haunting is the one from the woman in west stp who had a doordasher run into her home & refused to give her up. specifically, when an ICE thug says "you don't even know her" in tones of baffled indignation. they straight up do not get it.
