Discord has a feature that allows users to install apps onto their own accounts. Even if you ban or kick the account, the app can continue posting in your server because the app itself wasn't removed.

To help prevent this, go into each channel's settings (the little cog icon), select "Permissions", scroll down and disable "Use External Apps"!

My Discord server got hit by a bot attack today (while I was streaming too 🥹). It spammed hateful messages and NSFW content, so I wanted to spread awareness in case it helps protect your servers too 🤍
