Indie Book Spotlight
I was up late last night embroidering patches for my youngest child for a school thing. So I slept in, as you do.
But it made me realise that I do actually have a routine, though it likely doesn't look like that from the outside.

Despite almost constant physical fatigue, despite the fact I don't leave the house for it, I'm almost always working.
I'm always on the computer, sometimes in the office, sometimes on the couch. Writing, or editing, or outlining, or any of the unfun admin crap that goes with indie publishing.
But from anyone else's perspective it probably just looks like I spend every day fucking about on the internet ðŸ˜
And it made me wonder if that's what my family actually sees.
So when I'm called on to do something no one else can do (like embroidering patches so kid can cosplay as a pizza delivery person), it shunts my whole routine.
Oh no. This 'ending' is going to be longer and more drawn out than I thought.
But, I'm enjoying myself. It's not the kind of story that lends itself to being wrapped up in a tidy pink bow, just because of who these two dudes are, so it's all angst and desperation AND I LOVE IT and they'll get a HFN
