The desire to be a mother but the fear of pregnancy is probably why I created a fanchild between my self-insert and Caine, the fictional character who I relate to and who gives me comfort. It allows me to indulge the idea without the complications that such a thing could bring.

Also it’s given me some really interesting and funny ideas to draw, such as Kinger helping to deliver the child, having had a wife in the circus and having huge “girl dad” vibes in general, and the Gloink Queen, of all ppl, being a motivator for our first time mother, as a woman who’s had many kids
