"Meet the Jamaican iguana—once thought extinct, now a symbol of hope. This critically endangered reptile is found only in Jamaica. What endangered species are protected where you live? Share your stories! #Conservation #JamaicanIguana"
I was just watching some David Hockney videos the day before yesterday and thinking, “It’s going to be a really sad day when you pass, and I feel like it will be soon.” I wasn’t thinking this soon 🥺 I’m unprepared for this sadness. RIP sir, & thank you 🖤

I *do* understand why some disabled ppl- esp those not engaged w disability justice- find LLMs helpful for cognitive dysfunction. But for art? I don’t know a single disabled artist who doesn’t hate the entire premise or who uses it. Btw, your favorite artist in history was probably disabled.
And this is especially the case when it comes to art and expression. The ppl claiming anti-AI is ableist and disabled people need AI to create are mostly not disabled. When they’re not using disabled ppl for their argument, they don’t care about us or about ableism.
