While I'm on the subject, let's discuss pre-1949 stock car racing, specifically why there should be a special wing of the NASCAR HOF dedicated to it.
There is no NASCAR without the bedrock of those pre-war years and the 1946-1948 seasons. You can find the results here. The Third Turn groups them under the NSCRA because that was the closest thing there was to a sanactioning body before NASCAR made it big. thethirdturn.com/wiki/Nationa...
