“He is a unit and a real spectacle of a bear. He looks like he’s had a great hibernation and doesn’t seem to have lost much of his mass, especially as he is pushing 30 years of age.”

Editor: As many of us already know, The Carter/Ryan Gallery on Main Street is far more than Jason Carter’s wonderful visual art. It is also the home of The Carter/Ryan Live Theatre. Canmore is extremely fortunate to have such a talented group of artists based right here in our cozy, little town. Bridget Ryan, the artistic and creative director, and her amazing team, have consistently provided us with world-class productions since they began in 2018. The micro theatre within the gallery is a delightful setting for the invariably sold-out crowds. My friends and I have seen almost every production and have yet to be disappointed. We’ve all been to New York and London and agree that Carter/Ryan provides us with equal, if not sometimes better, quality shows. Hopefully, Canmore will continue to support this amazing addition to our town and The Carter/Ryan Theatre artists will be with us for a long time. Cynthia Ullmark, Don Rees, Donna Scott-Rees Canmore
