Global Game Jam launches micro-grant program to support indies and emerging talent
Alright! I've finally put a starter pack together!
Right now it's mostly gamedevs and/or artists!
I wanted to collect folks with less than 1k followers who are making interesting things! There's only a handful of people here right now, so if you'd like to be a part of it, please let me know!
Happy last day of Bitsummit to those still with the living and those who perished at karaoke.
If you're looking for me around Bitsummit this weekend, look for the hat! 👈☺️

#DarkForestGB is a retro turn-based dungeon crawler centered around family, kinship and tragedy. In an animal-centric world, creatures live together in small enclaves called 'clearings' in order to stay safe from the dangerous beasts of the ‘dark forests’ that surround the area. #indiedev

Just wanna make sure my fellow Ren'Py devs are informed of this, in case (like me) they find such information important to consider before using a game engine.

I use language models to develop Ren'Py, and have since Github copilot came out in beta in 2021. Before that I've used other tools (code completion, etc.)
I don't vibe code Ren'Py, though - that's not something you do if you want a project you can maintain.
