I was born with rust in my blood. Midwest trash who co-authored a Sleepaway Camp book at DieDieBooks and is the trans half of the wives from This Ends At Prom.

I hope you all are going to go see CAROLINA CAROLINE this weekend because there is no man working that knows how to look at women like Kyle Gallner.
WAITING is a comedy, but far more deeply, it's a character study of boiled frogs simply waiting for something better to come along. The promise of college successes has only grown more fleeting since the '08 recession and beyond. A "forced to work" story has only become more potent, snot and all.
"No, Flamer is cooler."
I SAW THE TV GLOW (2024) dir. Jane Schoenbrun
Also Drew is apparently a silly, little guy who loves any excuse to dance.
1991
Yes, I know it was the 90s. Heroin chic. Etc. For what it is worth, BJ and I have often pointed out how well writen the actual fat jokes are in this show when watching it. By and large (at least into season 3 so far) the humor has aged extremely well for the 90s.
Like, when Clerks transitions to Clerks 2 or if "the man" won in Empire Records, Waiting is for those of us who didn't have the good fortune of being a young adult in the '90s before corporatization climbed to where it would be and is now.
A key factor of the Drew Carey Show's humor is that Drew is regarded as really fat. In the city of Cleveland. He is built like this.
