I cannot stress enough that this IS NOT NORMAL. As in, it does not happen.
Unless, of course, the government wouldn’t want defendants to find something in discovery by pursuing their legal fees under the Hyde Amendment.
I listened to the press conference so you don’t have to:
- 15 defendants, all from the Twin Cities. 13 currently in custody
- Direct Action MN mentioned
- quotes and video from people fedposting on Instagram
- lots of very obvious lies, local reporters were skeptical and they cut the Q&A off
none of this is true and the place where this is going is potentially very awful
ADU ordinance comment to Oakland, CA for today's Council meeting. The City's proposed restrictions on 66323 ADUs violate state law, and the City may not use findings to evade compliance with state ADU law.
