This is what the likes of Reform are inciting.
I have to say, listening to the Today programme dedicate an entire (context free) section about whether migrants are more likely to be convicted criminals *the morning after* hundreds of non-migrants of my own ethnicity committed a pogrom is blood boiling.
Again and again and again researchers, activists and people who work to enable communities to live well and peacefully together had warned and offered clear, practical steps. *Last year* I spoke at length of this with @neilmackay.bsky.social
It will get worse without action
