Important 🧵 on Ellipsus’ new Emboss “feature” — I’m all for anti-AI, but I don’t think authors should give up their privacy. Folks who use AI need to be ignored, not demonized, because right now we’re just witch hunting each other instead of supporting talented creators. Build up, don’t tear down.

I know people are very excited about the Emboss tool in Ellipsus that can show readers how often the writer paused and if those pauses seem like "natural" human pauses or .... something artificial, something that hints at perhaps AI being involved.
