birth rates have dropped 22% since 2007. “experts” believe smart phones are to blame. in reality it’s because no one can fucking afford to have kids. when a couple is both working fulltime just to make ends meet, how the fuck do you expect them to have a kid? then pay thousands for childcare?

if childcare is too much, one of them might quit and stay home with the baby. now their income is halved. idk any family that can survive on a single income. raise wages, make healthcare and education free like they should be, & provide social safety nets and you’ll have plenty of people having kids
